Crash 2.64 RC1 x 2.63a
Detailed description
Hello!
When I render a complex scene in release 2.63a it's fine.
However, when I render the same scene at 2.64 version in GPU mode it's crash.
I'm use Nvidia Quadro 2000, windows 7 64 bits and 8 GB ram and core i7 2600k.
I think that's problem have relation to BVH.
Thanks,
Followup

Hi,
"A complex scene" is not a very helpful description.
Could you provide a test file please?
Also, make sure it's not timeout detection related since you mention a complex scene. Sometimes in CUDA mode the GPU takes too long time to refresh the application itself on screen, causing this operating system feature to kick in, reset the graphics card and crash blender. If you get "Display Driver stopped responding but has sucessfully recovered" messages this may be likely the cause.

Hello Antony,
I had already updated the TRDelay long time ago and I'm not having problems since.
As I said before the scene is rendered perfectly in version 2.63a.
Anyway, I shared the blend file at the address below:

Thanks

Can you monitor the amount of GPU memory that is being used (with GPU-Z for example).
The file renders fine for me (GT540) but I have 2GB of GPU memory.

Also renders fine here (Geforce 540GM) but it may be related to the fact that no textures are attached.

Interesting ... when render my animation with GPU-Z on I have no problems.
Well, I'll do some more tests here. Maybe changing the resolution of textures.
I use QUADRO 2000D with 1GB.
Both 2.63 and 2.64 consume 725 MB peak by GPU-Z.
Thanks.

Any updates here? Otherwise I consider this bug related to only 1GB of VRAM.
Cycles got some updates since 2.63, possible it needs a bit more RAM than before.
