- Let's try again with the pngs...

- I should mention that:
(1) the original file from which this was derived shows no problem with border rendering
(2) the attached file renders from left to right, instead of from the centre out.

- I've retested with SVN 30205 on my platform and the reported issues remain.

- Hi,
I check the file with the last svn and work fine here.
Can you check again ?
Thanks,
- Diego

- Rechecking with SVN 30367 after a make clean;make, I see the same issues remain.
I reconfirmed the original issues on a Windows XP laptop (SVN 28577), just to check on another platform. Graphicall's automated Win32 builds seem to be broken at the moment.

- Maybe this will help a shed a little light on this issue:
(1) Open euromoney_mono.blend (2) Go to the constraint panel (the camera is already selected) (3) Delete the unnecessary track-to constraint. (4) save the file (5) quit blender (6) reopen blender (7) reload euromoney_mono.blend (8) go to camera view (9) select a border to render (10) hey presto, it renders without complaint
Perhaps the existence of a constraint on the camera somehow preserves the panorama flag, or prevents changes in its status being recorded.

- Something committed a couple of days ago (relating to .Blanguages) made my regular build unusable, and another more recent commit relating to smoke.c stopped it compiling.
I'll report these separately, and will retest once I have a working build (using make, Mac OS X 10.5.8).

- With these builds:
SVN 30919 (Mac), compiled this morning with scons Official 253 beta release (Mac) Official 253 beta release (Windows XP, Mobile Intel 4 Series Express, Dell E5500)
I still see the issues reported.

- Could you test again please with a recent build?
you could also try on a different system and see if this makes a difference.
Its quite strange that this works for 3 developers but you still see the problem.

- No problems.
I've rechecked on:
(a) PowerBook G4 Mac OS X 10.5.8 / Mobility Radeon 9700M / SVN 32867
(b) Dell Latitude E5500 WinXP / Intel Mobile 4 Series Express Chipset / SVN 32853
On both these platforms, I see that:
(A) euromoney_mono.blend now renders without complaint, which is good news.
(B) mangled cube renders persist, as detailed in sections 7 to 18 in the initial report.
Perhaps this is a matter of interpretation? I would regard the mangled cube renders as a problem; I presume that they are a problem, due to the lack of comments to the contrary from the people who've looked at this. If they're not a problem, then we can close this one.
I've included a couple of screen grabs from the platforms tested, showing the splash screens and mangled renders.

- Confirmed the border breaks panorama (jumbled tiles), fixed r32954.

- Thanks very much for that, that's pretty much got it.
I think that there's still a pixel offset amiss somewhere, see the annotated PDF supplied for details.

- Here's the raw png file from with_border.pdf, as the one in the pdf was probably processed when it was imported.

- your right, there is a slight but noticeable mismatch.
re-opening.

- Proper panorama fix is in svn,
Campbell: you made the fix too complicated, only 1 value needed a fix. :)
