Detailed description

Consistency Issue: involving Lasso select.

Box select has the Extend Option, yet Lasso does not.

I think if one select method were to have this option it would be Lasso since you have more control over what you select.

Ironically I would use the UNchecked box in my workflow because I would like it to erase prior selections before selecting.

This may not qualify as a bug, but it is a consistency issue at least.

confirmed, border select is also missing deselect option, will fix.

fixed in svn along with some other miscellaneous problems with lasso and border select.
didn't add deselect option to border select because this value is controlled by the mouse button used to drag the box.

I think that Border Select should have the "Deselect" option, because it's used in two modes - "tweak" and "modal". Setting up tweak-borderselect to do "deselect" is very counter-intuitive and requires modal map trickery - you need to have "ctrl+mouseUP" there instead of middlemouse, and also to make sure it doesnt conflict with other "border select" entries. Not everyone will think of this. Rather, middle mouse should remain in the modal map for "Bkey mode", while a "deselect" flag should be there for "tweak" cases. They don't really conflict with eachother.

While on topic, borderselect needs extend/deselect flags for all the other window types too.
