UV/Image Editor: selected elements move not as specified
Detailed description
Hi,
This is my first bug report. Hopefully I do things right.

OS: Win 7 64 bit (Nvidia Geforce GTX 285)

Blender 2.5 rev. 32852

In UV/Image Editor:

If I press the G Key and the Y Key and type in for example "5" then I expect the selected elements (vertices, faces) move about 5 pixel in y direction upward but they move much further. The same happens in x direction by pressing G and X.

  • This is the matter of units. I agree that actually - it's not handy if you expect pixels. Can it be fixed by adding a possibility to enter "1p" to move by 1 pixel? Or enter "1m", "mm", "cm" etc.
I think that it's the best way because we already type units in modifiers.

    Reproduced
    When Normalized Coordinates are disabled.
Normalized coordinates are used when pressing G,X.
They are not used when pressing G,X,X.

    When Normalized Coordinates are enabled.
    They are always used.
