Summary:
Particles render as frozen if start time is not 1.
Detailed description
OS Version: Win7
Video: Intel GMA X4500 Integrated
Blender 2.55, 32738

The particle system correctly displays particles in the veiwport, but if the Emission Start Time is later than 1, the particles will always render at some frame in the middle, ignoring animation.

Frames before cache start are rendered like last frame rendered.

If I play animation in 3d view, set current frame to 1 and render animation; no problem.

But if current frame correspond to a frame with rendered particles or if I render a frame with rendered particles, there is a problem.
