If I open with Blender 2.55 a Blender 2.49 file containing a layer ipocurve, this is ported wrongly so that the f-curve created doesn't work as in Blender 2.49. To reproduce the problem:

-Open Blender 2.49
-With the default cube selected, insert a layer keyframe at frame 1
-Go to frame 25, move the cube to a different layer and insert another layer keyframe
-Save the .blend file and close Blender 2.49
-Open the .blend file with Blender 2.55. The cube won't animate as it did in Blender 2.49; it won't even change layer

I used Blender 2.49c to create the .blend file, and tryed to open it with Blender 2.55 and Blender 2.55 SVN r33045. The problem occurs in both of them.

The files attached are a .blend file created in Blender 2.49c and the .blend resulted from the conversion done in Blender 2.55.

I reproduced the problem on three computer:
