Summary:
Error at the Normal function.
Detailed description
Frame 1 ---> 20
Render frame 1
And then render frame 20
Same object, same material, same texture, same settings.
The texture has: Influence -> Geometry -> Normal:5.000

The big sphere is the original one, without any scale changes

The small sphere is scaled at frame 20 making it very small,
relative to the big sphere.

Going back to frame 20 and rendering the image
you'll notice the small sphere has an error at the Normal function.
This is because it's been scaled.Comparing frames 1 and 20, you'll see
a huge difference.

Frame 1's view is the optimal one, with the original scale.

  • Confirmed.

    Brecht: Scaling an object makes an extreme difference on how normals are getting calculated. Is this a side effect of new bump code?
