Summary:
3D view rendering issue after saving the file
Detailed description
Attached is a blend file.

Open that file and then press strg + S to save. then click with the mouse somewhere on the 3D view window so that the view gets updated.

The objects (a sphere and a stick) appear now very shiny. Look like the open gl lights have changed.

You can now close the file and open any other file all seems ok but if you again open that file in one and the same blender session the object are still shiny. But after closing blender and start blender again and load the file it appears to be ok until pressing again strg+s and clicking in to the 3D view window.

As soon as I remove the material applied to the stick the problem has vanished as well when I remove the stick completely or if I remove the camera object only.

I have this tested on win 7 64 bit and on Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit.
