Summary:
HISTOGRAM: Inconsistency in spaces
Detailed description
Summary: When loading a file, saving as various file formats results in entirely different histogram images. It makes it extremely difficult to evaluate images.

Version: SVN 33369

Platform: Linux amd64 (Ubuntu 10.10)

Reproduction: 1) Load the UV Image pane. 2) Load an image of a particular file type. 3) Save a copy as a different file type. When comparing the different types using the available scopes, the rendering is quite radically different.

  • Fix in svn, was due to difference in precision of 32bit float vs 8bit imagery.
