blender crashes on mac osx, when icon view for texture import is set
Detailed description
blender crashes everytime I want to import a texture (or another mesh), when the viewer in the import menu is set to icon view. I can avoid the crash, when i st it to list view befor doing anything else.

  • Please mention the exact Blender version you use? 2.54 had a bug like this, but that was fixed in 2.55.

    Such a crash is usually due to a particular file in the directory you're browsing, if you could isolate that file and attach it here, that would help debugging.
