Summary:
Ctrl-left click in beizer edit mode with no selection results in crash.
Detailed description
Open default scene, delete cube and add a beizer curve. Select none (A). Now ctrl-click, as if you were going to extrude something. Blender crashes.
What's the expected behavior in this case: Add a new node, or do nothing?

  • Confirmed. Almost fixed. Need to recheck my patch.

  • Fixed the crashing issue in SVN.

However, as a separate issue, Ctrl-Click behaviour is here different to Mesh EditMode, as the latter adds a new vert even without any verts selected. Then again, that's another issue to fix, though more as a todo.
