Summary:
Lost Material When Make A Library Object Local(after save and reopen)
Detailed description
Seems it's an old bug come from 2.49x.

I have 2 files in the attachment:'library.blend' & 'main.blend'.
In library.blend, there is a sphere with 2 meterials, and it belongs to group name 'group'.
In main.blend,I append link 'group' from librray.blend, and use'link group objects to scene' on 'group'.
Now I have the sphere object which is linked from the other file.
If I select it and press 'L' (make local) then select 'selected objects and data',it will became local(include the data),
the 2 materials still there, and they are linked from outside.
when you save(can save as another file for test),and reopen it,the object will lost all 2 materials, but the slots remain.

It happen on my windows xp,r33799.
