User Preferences - Render Output path problem
Detailed description
In User Preferences / File, you can enter the Render Output path ( the default path for rendering output as the tooltip says).
Then Save as default to record the changes and close blender. Now open again blender and look in the render panel, at the output subpanel: the old path
continues showing. It is not showing what you entered in User Preferences/File/Render Output.
Ubuntu 64bits here.

The tooltip here was incomplete, this is the default render output path as used when creating a new scene.
Once you have a scene with output dir set, it always will use that, of course.
I've changed the tooltip to make this more clear. Thanks!
