Summary:
Current SVN Scons build crashes on Windows 7
Detailed description
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
3D Card: AMD Radeon 4200 Mobile
Blender version: Current available version from SVN.

Description:
Undefined Symbols seem to cause the Scons build to fail in the final compilation stages, right before Scons installs the built package.

Note: No .blend file attached because this is an error that occurs at compile time.

  • SVN revision #s used that resulted in compile-time crash:

    r34159 of the bf-blender branch.
r34120 for the windows libraries branch.

  • Could you attach the scons output instead? Just run scons as usual with an extra
    > scons_debug.txt
and attach this error output here.

Also, is this using the mingw or msvc compiler?

  • Update: I've made some tweaks in SVN, so could you update and try again.

Also, in future, please use the mailing list for compiling support. Thanks :)

  • Thanks for the speedy response!

My build still crashes after SVN update. I do have the debug output from MSVC, and will include that when I put this to the mailing list. It seems to crash when doing linking on the BlenderPlayer's png and bf-rna libs.
