Detailed description

This bug only happens on mac osx. It is confirmed on Snow Leopard 10.6.6 on two different computers. It did NOT happen on 3 other PCs.

My computer specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz
4 gigs of ram
NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Snow Leopard 10.6.6
Blender 2.56a

Just open the blend file and hit spin in the toolbar.

In mac 32 bits it goes fine.
Can you save out the .blend with error after 1 spin of the default 90 degrees?

Please confirm you have the official build from blender.org!

Ton: I've attached a .blend with a default spin applied. I also noticed that if I redo the spin (ctrl-Z then spin again) the error isn't identical - ie different f-gons get created.

I could redo this after all, it was random, and didnt happen predictable for me.
Found the bad code, the extrusion code was copying flags from edges that were already free'd from memory!
