Outliner Visible layers + Single object & data = broke conections

Detailed description

Hi.

1.Start blender
2.Change outliner type to "Visible layers"
3.Set parrent lamp to cube
4.Create a empty
5.Object -> Make single user -> Object -> Selected only

Parent get lost, and if you select lamp, you see something strange in "Parent object" region.
This broke actually all connections with modifiers, objects, constraints... and camera lost her "active camera" mark.

In blend file I attached just make Object -> Make single user -> Object -> Selected only.

Confirmed. Looks like some memory corruption going on... will investigate!

I've made a fix for this in SVN. However, I'm not sure that it's the best fix for this, so I'm assigning this report to Ton so that he can check.

Further details for the record:
- This was also a problem in 2.4, except that there, Blender crashed soon after the Make Single User step.
- Also, I noticed that there isn't any problem with the default Outliner mode "All Scenes"
