add > curve > bezier curve or circle
A key > X key to delete all the vertices
Ctrl + left mouse button
> Blender crash
OS : windows vista
nvidia geforce 9200M GE

The crash still happens by ctrl+LMB -> undo -> ctrl+LMB.
