Blender version 2.56.2 r3548M
System : linux ubuntu 10.04, nvidia drivers

1 - select a mesh, go to edit mode and enable display of edges lenght (numeric vertical bar in 3D view)
2 - change the units system from none to metric
3 - turn off antialiasing fonts in user prefs.
4 - Play with some vertices or edges.

After a while, the display in the 3D view becomes weird and blender crash.

messages in the terminal:

Memoryblock uiBlock: end corrupt
Memoryblock free: attempt to free illegal pointer

    I've committed a quick patch in r35452 to make it not crash.
    BLF_draw_ascii() crashes badly when switching to noAA fonts...

  • fixed r35453. pretty sure when I added the ascii table aa fonts couldn't be disabled like this.
