solidifier modifier doesn't seem to work on cubes correctly.
Detailed description
Blender 2.56.4 r32178:35711M

Instructions:
Use wire frame view so you can see the inside.
Add solidifier to a cube. increase the solidifier thickness so that you can see the walls of the cube getting thicker.

Bug:Only the top and bottom plane of the cube get thicker.

  • This is most likely todo with recent changes to normal calculation.

    Brecht, since vertex normals are used for modifiers, shouldn't they be used even when flat shading is used?

  • I thinks that in r35825 bug is still not fixed. See "cylinder.blend"
