Segfault in CustomData_blend_read

@HooglyBoogly I am still getting the issue on the latest build. The crash log on #106874 was created from a build from yesterday.

Segfault in CustomData_blend_read

@deadpin I've been modelling in edit mode and using geometry nodes.

Some objects will append to a new file and some won't and I can't seem to find a pattern as to why.
