This was the same as using the inverse obmat.

52669dda80 Eevee: Remove the Volumetric Render checkbox
This is to simplify the usage of Volumetrics.

Now it automatically detect if there is any Volumetric material in the
view and allocate the needed buffer if any.

8bc8a62c57 DRW: Refactor: Use DRWCall to accumulate per instance attributes
This is a big change that cleanup a lot of confusing code.
- The instancing/batching data buffer distribution in draw_instance_data.c.
- The selection & drawing code in draw_manager_exec.c
- Prety much every non-meshes object drawing (object_mode.c).

Most of the changes are just renaming but there still a chance a typo might
have sneek through.

The Batching/Instancing Shading groups are replace by DRWCallBuffers. This
is cleaner and conceptually more in line with what a DRWShadingGroup should
be.

There is still some little confusion in draw_common.c where some function
takes shgroup as input and some don't.

b6b3a57c22 DRW: Add DRW_duplidata_get to create fast path for duplis
This is in order to create less shading group when using duplis.

Data for dupli objects keep in draw manager state until the source object
changes so retrieval is fast.

Note that this system could be extended to all meshes.

b2f1a65874 Sculpt: Refactor draw manager sculpt drawing mechanism
Workbench/Eevee now displays multiple multi-materials correctly.

Iterate over pbvh nodes when doing object iteration. This makes the
rendering process more streamlined and allow for using different materials.

This change will make possible to:
- Add culling pass of each pbvh leaf node. (speedup if zoomed on a small
area)
- Reduce number of lead node iteration.
- Reduce code complexity

95e052f830 Fix T63997 Weird z-fight during weight paint
PBVH drawing was used even in weightpaint/vertexpaint because both uses
the sculpt session.

cc74020b5a Fix T62114: Wireframe mode selection: selects backside objects when clicking frontside object in 3d-window
Now the depth order of objects when trying to select them is only used when not in X-ray mode.
Before, this was only the case in wireframe mode regardless of X-ray settings.

I've also unified the usage of V3D_XRAY and XRAY_FLAG as they were basically copies of each other.

9ab99ff26b Sculpt Draw: Add support for wireframe geometry
This introduce the wireframe batches. Creating the indices buffer does
not seems to slow down the sculpt in my testing (but it is kind of hard to
test reliably)

This includes a bit of cleanup in gpu_buffers.c.

dbd7f36da8 GPU: refactor clipped drawing from DRW into GPU
Needed to fix T61196, supporting clipped back-buffer in the 3D view
which is done outside the draw module.

It was also inconvenient having DRW_shader_* versions of GPU_shader_*
API calls.

- Clipping distances are now supported as a shader configuration
  for builtin shaders.
- Add shader config argument when accessing builtin shaders.
- Move GPU_shader_create_from_arrays() from DRW to GPU.

a131514d0f Edit Mesh: Fix some problem with new implementation
- Add manual depth offset to vertices and edges.
- Revert to plain edge decoration.

9a63fa21eb Color management: change view transform for color pickers and display modes.
* Use simple default view transform for color pickers, as Filmic does not work
  well for all types of colors. We better handle this with an option and tagging
  of colors as emissive or albedo like.
* For solid/workbench we also no longer use Filmic, as there is not enough contrast
  and it's not really needed since this is not physically based lighting.
* For lookdev always take into account the view transform and look. Other view
  settings like exposure are only taken into account if scene lighting is used,
  since these are often dependent on scene light intensity.

65ec7ec524 Cleanup: remove redundant, invalid info from headers
BF-admins agree to remove header information that isn't useful,
to reduce noise.

- BEGIN/END license blocks

  Developers should add non license comments as separate comment blocks.
  No need for separator text.

- Contributors

  This is often invalid, outdated or misleading
  especially when splitting files.

  It's more useful to git-blame to find out who has developed the code.

See P901 for script to perform these edits.

7c0f925c59 DRW: Add DRW_shader_create_from_arrays utility
While verbose, this is a more flexible way to construct shaders.

Libs & defines can be optionally included for each shader type
which was previously done with inline string creation.

9bc47ed0f6 Fix clipping shaders with some AMD/Intel drivers
Caused:
    error: unsized array index must be constant

Use hard coded number of clipping planes, copying the 4th to 5 & 6
when only 4 are used.

0edd93effb Fix inconsistent/broken Cycles object visibility for instances.
Object visibility is now handled by the depsgraph iterator, but this API
was incomplete as it made no distinction for visibility of the object itself,
particles and generated instances.

The depsgraph iterator API now includes information about which part of the
object is visible, and this is used by Cycles to replace the old custom logic.
Cycles and EEVEE visibility should now be consistent, which unfortunately does
means some subtle compatibility breakage for both.

6f198f7851 Wireframe: Optimization: Only draw triangles that have edges
This only happens after a certain wireframe threshold.

We sort triangles into 2 bins (start and end of the buffer) based on a
threshold and just draw the first bin if the wireframe slider is low enough.

This optimization is disabled for deformed meshes when playback is active.
This optimization is only implemented for meshes object for now.

This should help resolve (to some extent) T58188.

7d32d87a86 Viewport: implement hiding faces in paint modes.
In 2.79 hiding works in paint modes with selection enabled,
so it is a missing feature. This implements it in texture
paint overlays and in workbench base shading.
