Issue introduced on 86eefefdc1.
There was a `if scene:` check in the original code, as it turned out
there was a reason for that. We gotta be careful with these assumptions.
Sphinx Warnings
: WARNING: Could not obtain image size. :scale: option is ignored.
Note the preview is not accurate and warnings may not indicate real issues.
