We see images like this:

Where weights for vertices are 1 and 0 only, but when using the software, I am unable to recreate examples as shown. Whatever I do, I will always get something like this:

There is always a greenish colour transition between two weights. Please update documentation to reflect what the software actually do, not theoretical images.

This was simply a UI change during 2.8, the expected result is the same.
