Dear Blender Development Team,
I am writing to formally request the inclusion of the Urdu(اردو) language in Blender. As a passionate Blender user from Pakistan, I believe that adding Urdu support would significantly expand Blender's reach and accessibility to a vast user base in Pakistan and India.
With a substantial user base in the South Asian region, providing Urdu language support would not only cater to the needs of native Urdu speakers but also foster a more inclusive and diverse Blender community.
I have already made significant progress in translating Blender's interface and documentation into Urdu. I am confident that with the official support of the Blender development team, we can complete the translation process and ensure a high-quality user experience for Urdu speakers.
I believe that adding Urdu support to Blender will:
Increase user base: Attract a larger user base in Pakistan and India, where Urdu is widely spoken.
Enhance inclusivity: Make Blender more accessible to a diverse range of users.
Promote open-source software: Encourage more people to contribute to the Blender project.
Strengthen the Blender community: Foster a more vibrant and inclusive community.
I would be happy to provide any additional information or assistance that may be required to facilitate the inclusion of Urdu in Blender.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Sarfaraz Baig

Hi @Sarfaraz-Baig , I have added you to the translators team on translate.blender.org, and started generating the Urdu translation there. Note that if you already have translations work in a PO file, you can upload it from the
Files
menu of the Urdu page.Once I see some translation there, I will add the relevant entries in Blender code to make that translation available in the official builds.
Welcome on board!
Dear Bastien Montagne,
I am truly surprised and honored to be a part of the translators' team so quickly. It is a matter of great pride for me and Pakistan that Blender has given us this opportunity. We are fully committed to supporting Blender's mission and will strive to meet the expectations set for us.
I am currently getting familiar with the access provided and am preparing to start working on the translation. I will review my existing work and proceed with the tasks with renewed dedication.
Thank you for this incredible opportunity.
Best regards,
Sarfaraz Baig
You are much welcome, thanks for contributing to Blender! 👍
