Your mac doesn't seem to have ARM architecture (It is Intel).
In this case you need to download the compatible version that is named
Intel
.Is there any reason why you downloaded the Apple Silicon version?
@pablovazquez, could it be that the commit infrastructure/blender-org@cb5013fc56 confused the OSs and "Apple GPU" is also detected by Mac with Intel?

The same issue came up in #101300 (Blender 3.3 LTS won't open in MacOS Catalina).
Setting this to high since this may affect many users.
@pablovazquez the issue can be reproduced on the MacBook that's on the table right outside your office.
Maybe adding something like
&& !renderername.match(/Intel/) && !renderername.match(/AMD/)
would work.Installation version 3.2.2to macOS download defaults to Apple Silicon on Intel machineAdded subscriber: @Kratos_2B

Unfortunately that didn't work, it seems that Safari purposely shows the same values ("Apple GPU") for all systems to prevent fingerprinting.
Apparently there is work being done to make this easier to find using WebGPU's
navigator.gpu
, but support for Safari doesn't seem to be ready yet.After trying several methods I decided to go with the simplest approach which is to simply show both download buttons when using Safari.
It's not the prettiest but at least it's clear and it would only affect a small number of users temporarily anyway.

Firefox and Chrome/Chromium will show only one download button since detection seems to be working fine.
