Short description of error
The ring finger of the right hand does not mirror the left when flip is in effect in this file’s asset library:

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. In the Asset Browser select “Point Hand Left”.
  2. Check the “Flip Pose” box.
  3. Click on “Select”
  4. Click on “Apply”

On the right hand all fingers, except the ring finger, mirror the left hand. The ring right finger does not mirror the ring left finger as it should.

This avatar was created using the Blender Avastar pluggin, and from an avatar shape downloaded from Second Life. The Avastar finger posing features were not used to pose these fingers, and create this Asset Library.

I started a thread about this issue here:

When none of the respondents were able to come up with an answer, and Avastar tech support could not also, I came to the conclusion this was likely a Blender bug.
