System Information
Operating system: Windows 11 Pro
Graphics card: RTX 3090, Game Ready 528.02, 128GB RAM, Ryzen 7 3700x
Blender Version
Broken: (3.4, 3.4.1)
Worked: none
blender crashes when rendering out animation sequence after few frames. can sometimes up to 40+ then crash and sometime right after 3-4 frames and crashes. I tried updating graphics driver. changed from studio to game ready, increase the power supply wattage, even upgrading graphics card from 3080 to 3090 to compensate the vram size but blender keeps crashing on my system whenever i'm rendering animation sequence.
tried to find solution on the internet but couldnt resolve it. lowered the samples and also tile size wont work. i turned on persistent data also dont worked. here i attached the crash report as well.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
set the engine to cycles. device selection is just graphics card under the optix option.

Same here. I'm on an RTX 4090 and my GPU spikes to 100% utilization and then it crashes. Even the default cube crashes on renders.

Hi, thanks for the report. Please attach .blend file.
Also share system-info and debug-output files:
Hi Pratik,
Here I attached the debug output, system files and also the blend file for that scene. blender_system_info.txt
blender_debug_output.txt
The blend file : Scene 04.rar
I noticed that in the system info, the OS that is stated is Win 10 -10 while im using Win 11 Pro .
Here is my OS spec :
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 22H2
Installed on 11/25/2022
OS build 22621.1105
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22638.1000.0
Hi, thanks for the information. Rendered first 50 frames with optix but crash did not happen.
Could you pack textures and reupload the file?: {nav File > External Data > Pack Resources} -> save .blend file
Did you try rendering with CPU or CUDA acceleration? or with EEVEE engine?
Hi Pratik,
Here I attached the packed .blend file for your reference.
Scene 04.rar
I have tried using CUDA and also EEVEE for rendering and it also crashes. As for the CPU, I have tried and no crashes but i didnt do full rendering with CPU as it was too slow.
Thanks. Still unable to repro the crash.
Could you check after factory reset?: {nav File . Default . Load Factory Settings}
Hi Pratik,
I have tried reseting to factory setting and enable just the preinstalled plugins. Tried to render using Optix GPU only but still crash. Last time i tested it crashes on frame 89.
Changed status from 'Needs User Info' to: 'Needs Triage'
Did final render for ~450 frames with Optix and once with EEVEE engine, still no crash.
I did a full wipe out of my GPU driver using DDU uninstaller and reinstall the driver using the Studio non-DCH driver. For the file that i've sent you, render no problem until 660 then i test with heavier scene, render crash halfway.
do you think that resetting my Windows will solve the problem? I think my system are problematic right now. Even when using the add brush for the hair curve system also lagging and choppy.

Hi, sorry missed your last message.
If I understand correctly, crash no longer happen in uploaded scene after reinstalling the driver, right?
Reason for crash could be different in other scene.
No idea really
But its likely an issue with your system. Did you try with default GPU settings?
hi, any updates?
