PrincipledBSDF Transmission does not work in Eevee Metal with AMD graphics card #104266

System Information
Operating system: macOS-13.1-x86_64-i386-64bit 64 Bits
Graphics card: Metal API AMD Radeon Pro Vega 64 1.2

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.5.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2023-01-30 22:48, hash: ea8fd343eb
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
On the Einar - Real-Time Realism Demo https:*studio.blender.org/films/charge/?asset=6279 Einars eyes appear black in the render when using Metal GPU Backend.
When using OpenGL GPU Backend the render looks OK.
I suppose it has something to do with "Screen Space Reflections" because it has the same effect when turning it off.
The problem seems to occur only in the Intel version of Blender. I was able to test it on a MacStudio with M1 Ultra where the render was OK with Metal GPU Backend.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
In Preferences, System set The GPU Backend to Metal, restart Blender.
Download and open the Einar Test file from https:*studio.blender.org/films/charge/?asset=6279
Hit Render.

Seems to work correctly here on M1 though:

Can't reproduce here as well. But hair is green and UI completely unresponsive.

Thanks for testing, but it seems you are on OpenGL Backend.
Please switch Blender to Metal GPU Backend and restart Blender. (Preferences, System)
Please check if you are using the latest Blender 3.5.0 Alpha.
(Also your macOS is one update behind)

Ah you are correct, I used OpenGL backend. I remember switching to Metal, but that's besides the point. With Metal, I can confirm.
