EEVEE-NEXT: Shadow pool bug #122203

System Information
Operating system: WIN 11 23H2
Graphics card: RTX 4070

Blender Version
Broken: 4.2 alpha

Short description of error
In default scene when your using shadow in certain condition you get the error message for telling you the shadow are full and nothing anymore can be stored in the pool
@fclem in the blender-chat tellin to open a report

For reproducing this use default scene and switch to eevee-next and change pool size to 512MO and turn around the mesh and play with distance...

Sometimes the message come and sometimes no.... i don't know why in this time for reporting this bug he can't be reproduce ! But i get the bug from a last past minutes....

but i tried to reproduce and i've made that things...

Yes still have some error and can't start eevee

How can you have the error without starting EEVEE?

This bug report is only about the shadow tile corruption.

If there is other artifacts they should be reported separately.
Zooming out on a very large plane like at the start of the video is a known issue caused by depth buffer imprecision and we cannot do much about this for now.

My bad i thinked is the ticket called "Blue nosie" idk if the bug are still here .

Can you please check again? Otherwise I will consider this issue fixed.

I already replied about this issue.

Zooming out on a very large plane like at the start of the video is a known issue caused by depth buffer imprecision and we cannot do much about this for now.

So I understand that you can't reproduce the completely broken shadow tiles issue. I will close the report then.
