Blender Version
Broken:2.80 , 26d5a3625e, 2018-11-29

Blender crashes when selecting "Path" as "Render As" type in the particle system.

**Open Blender.

Create Particle System

Set Particle Render As type to "Path" **
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

I can not reproduce this issue with a build from today, could you retry with a recent build?

Could you guys run blender with --debug-gpu and attach the output you get when it crashes (as a file).

You can also try to run blender with --debug-gpu-force-workarounds and see if that helps.

The terminal output I got was simply:

Writing: /tmp/blender.crash.txt
Segmentation fault: 11

Interestingly though, with --debug-gpu enabled, doing anything with hair particles yielded a whole bunch of:

I believe macOS particle drawing crashes were fixed, if it's still an issue we can reopen the report.
