EEVEE Crash when loading a dds in the shader #64758

Short description of error
When connecting three of the four DDS textures provided in the attatched file to a shader, in the EEVEE rendering engine, Blender instantly crashes. The textures are succeffully used in previous Blender versions (....about two weeks ago? It's been a bit since I last worked on this) and succeffully work in the game they're destinated to. They are also shown correctly in the image viewer, and in Cycles Renderer. Similar textures did succeffully allow the shader to compile.
The attatched .7z file contains a .blend file with the exact same textures in question. It has a simple scene with a cube, and a material with four textures, three cause Blender to crash, one is an example of a similar texture (Similar meaning it has the same purpose in the same game, not in properties).

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Connect one of the red texture nodes to the emission shader node
  • Blender crashes when attempting to compile the shader
  • Connect the green texture node to the emission shader node
  • Blender compiles the shader correctly
