Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.83.0, branch: master, commit date: 2020-06-03 14:38, hash:
211b6c29f7
Worked: 2.82a
Short description of error
It seems, that 2.83 ignores commandline options.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I have tried to run Blender as usually with blender - b [file] -S [something] -f 1 but Blender started full GUI with default scene. The same result I get if I try to run blender --help.
I have Blender installed from snap and it upgraded automatically. With 2.82 it worked fine.

Command line arguments are working for me with the official Blender 2.83.0 release on Linux.
What happens if you use the zip version from the Blender website? https://www.blender.org/download/
With zip version it works. So the problem is somewhere in snap.
Found the problem, probably. There is file /snap/blender/38/blender-wrapper which has the last line
There should be
or something similar. But I don't know much about snap. I can't edit it directly, how should I do it?

A new snap has been uploaded, please try and report if it works or not. Thank you.
Hi, Thanks for the upload.
I'm not sure of snaps need time to distribute but as if now the issue still persists for me. And I'm not talking about snaps auto-update feature. I had the snap removed due to this issue and just now re-installed.
The snap-id also seems the same as when I submitted a report (duplicate of this): https://developer.blender.org/T77431

Ok, here we are:
The good news:
Snap Revision 39 of Blender 2.83 is working. It accepts commandline options and works together with file managers like dolphin or nautilus.
Thank you very much!
The remaining problem:
There are now 3 snap-"channels" for Blender:
I think, the "latest/stable"-channel should also be upgraded. Most users coming from 2.82a are on this snap-channel.
I got the new revision 39 after changing from "latest/stable" to channel "2.83lts/stable"
Right, I need to roll update 39 into the latest/stable as well. Thanks for testing and reporting!
latest/stable has been updated to update 39.
Can confirm that after switching th 2.83lts/stable snap channel that the issue is fixed. Thank you
Today I received update 39 and I can confirm, that it works. I'am using lastest/candidate channel.
