Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Short description of error
Blender crash when I try to remove stripfrom Video Sequencer editor.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Simple add any strip ( image sequnces ) , add other , play with it. Try to remove and than - boom.
Blender crash. No errors - simply vanish.

Yep, affecting me too. I think it's somehow related to the prefetch frames mechanism - when it's working on the erasing strip there are ~100% chance to crash.
OS: Ubuntu 18.04
Graphics: Radeon R9 FURY
Blender: 2.83.1
Crash file attached: project.crash.txt
There is no useful lines in the stdout/stderr

I have noticed this in last editing session. Thanks for narrowing this down, I haven't made connection with deleting strips.
Make some test lately.
It's combine with "prefetch frames" , when I disable it ( uncheck ) that it behaves good - You can delete frames without crash.
Till now at least.

So the change will be added only to 2.9? Do you have plans to integrate it to 2.83 LTS?
Since it is crash it should be ported over to LTS, but first 2.9 has to be fixed.
