System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18362-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q Design/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.5.0 NVIDIA 451.48

Blender Version
Broken: version: 2.91.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2020-09-01 07:02, hash: c78c425266
Worked: -

Short description of error

2 Bugs:

  1. The transform gizmo got flipped in one of my projects, the Y and Z arrows always pointed the wrong way, independent of which transform orientation I selected. I have now traced it back to one of the custom orientations I had saved in the file. Only after deleting this, does the gizmo point the right way again.
  2. I stripped the blend file and attached it here. After deleting all objects however, you can not delete the custom orientation any more, because Blender just crashes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open blend file, make sure transform gizmo is visible.
  2. The gizmo Y and Z axes point in the wrong directions, try Global, Local, etc.
  3. Select the last custom orientation and delete. --> crash

It would be interesting to know how to get that result from scratch.
But in fact it looks like there is something wrong with the code.

Thanks for the report, this problem should be fixed in the next daily build.

The Gizmo pointing down is not a bug. Some tools have the option to choose the orientation to use.

@mano-wii : Thanks for the quick resolution!

About the gizmo pointing down: ok, I found what you mean. I didn't know that some tools can have another orientation that overwrites the otherwise selected orientation.
