Colour management/painting in Sculpt Mode does not work the same nor sync with the Image Editor #98027

Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
There are multiple issues with colour management and painting right now with the new system.

  1. There is no way to colour pick using alt with the Paint Tool like you can in Texture Paint Mode/the Image Editor. I was able to create a shortcut for the latter to achieve this, but this does not work at all in Sculpt Mode. I suggest adding this to all brush tools that are used for painting since it is a standard among all commonly used painting applications whether it's 2D or 3D.
  2. Making a shortcut key to swap colours in Sculpt Mode immediately switches you back to the previous colour. You have to hold the shortcut key down to get it to work. Works in the other modes.
  3. The colour swatches do not sync between the Image Editor and Sculpt Mode when you have both open simultaneously. The primary and secondary colours just do not match.
  4. Undoing brush strokes on a UV mapped texture in Sculpt Mode does not work. It works in the Image Editor when switching between the two windows.

Here are the keybinds I use where I changed alt+L click to colour pick, among other things (I use alt/ctrl/shift+R click drag to change brush size, strength, and rotation. I use X to swap colours in Sculpt Mode, Texture Paint Mode, and the Image Editor.
