Ideally the next step is an operator to spin up a terminal and immediately run a render.

  • Must be its own process group and spin up an actual terminal. Users must be able to close the currently open Blender interface without jeopardizing the render in the command line.
  • Cross platform (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)
  • Give users option to specify their own terminal (in add-on preferences)
