Blender is using more and more temporary Main data-base (historically
for reading linked data, but also now when resyncing liboverrides, for
temp data in asset code, etc.).
This commit aims at making this a bit more formal and defined, by:
* Adding a dedicated flag in Main struct to mark a Main as global.
* Adding some API to replace, or temporarily swap the current global
Main (`G_MAIN`) by another one.
NOTE: Having to temporarily replace `G_MAIN` is a workaround for the
limitation of current RNA, ideally this should be fixed in RNA itself,
but for now at least having an API helps tracking those cases (since
this is potentially risky operation).
This work is also a preparation for more usages of temp mains in the near
future (Asset Brushes and its presets system e.g. will most likely use
temp mains too).

Use a shorter/simpler license convention, stops the header taking so
much space.
Follow the SPDX license specification: https://spdx.org/licenses
- C/C++/objc/objc++
- Python
- Shell Scripts
- CMake, GNUmakefile
While most of the source tree has been included
- `./extern/` was left out.
- `./intern/cycles` & `./intern/atomic` are also excluded because they
use different header conventions.
doc/license/SPDX-license-identifiers.txt has been added to list SPDX all
used identifiers.

One of the core design aspects of the Asset Browser is that users can "mount"
custom asset libraries via the Preferences. Currently an asset library is just
a directory with one or more .blend files in it. We could easily support a
single .blend file as asset library as well (rather than a directory). It's
just disabled currently.
Note that in earlier designs, asset libraries were called repositories.
Idea is simple: In Preferences > File Paths, you can create custom libraries,
by setting a name and selecting a path. The name is ensured to be unique. If
the name or path are empty, the Asset Browser will not show it in the list of
available asset libraries.
The library path is not checked for validity, the Asset Browser will allow
selecting invalid libraries, but show a message instead of the file list, to
help the user understand what's going on.
Of course the actual Asset Browser UI is not part of this commit, it's in one
of the following ones.

Final releases (including beta) should strictly show features that are
finalized to prevent loss of data, old API clanging around, and the
overall quality of the product (Blender) presented.
Note that rendering should never be affected by user preferences, so
this is only changing things in the UI level.
Development note: This is reset experimental UI on file load.
Also note: to hide RNA (needed for hair and particles) will be done as a
separate patch.

The file subversion is no longer used in the Python API or user interface,
and is now internal to Blender.
User interface, Python API and file I/O metadata now use more consistent
formatting for version numbers. Official releases use "2.83.0", "2.83.1",
and releases under development use "2.90.0 Alpha", "2.90.0 Beta".
Some Python add-ons may need to lower the Blender version in bl_info to
(2, 83, 0) or (2, 90, 0) if they used a subversion number higher than 0.

This also makes `IDP_CopyProperty` the "opposite"
of `IDP_FreeProperty`, which is what I'd expect.
Two refactoring steps:
* rename IDP_FreeProperty to IDP_FreePropertyContent
* new IDP_FreeProperty function that actually frees the property

This patch implements new cache system.
Aim is to give user more control over cache, so it can be maximally
utilized. This is done through sequencer timeline side panel
in category proxy & cache.
Cached images are also visualized in timeline, controled by
sequencer timeline view->cache menu
Functional changes:
- NOT use IMB_moviecache API
- refactor names of cached image types
- each scene owns 1 sequencer cache
- merge preprocess cache into per-sequencer cache
- cache links images rendered per frame in order as they are created
- add cache content visualization tool
- add RNA properties to control the cache

This is often invalid, outdated or misleading
especially when splitting files.
It's more useful to git-blame to find out who has developed the code.
See P901 for script to perform these edits.
There was a bug due to non-aligned struct in the DNA that prevented us
to increase the size of the userdef light array.
Since the studio lights are now presets and stored in external files,
there is no need to keep backward compatibility with theses lights.
Remove the old array and create a new one.
Add blue tint light for specular.
This is needed for keymaps to define their own options,
which can include left/right mouse select.
This can also help to us to provide popular keymap tweaks as options,
so users can easily fit blender to their workflow with well supported
adjustments which don't give the overhead of having to maintain
your own keymap, which become out-dated when operators change.
We already had a BKE_main.h header, no reason not to put there
Main-specific functions, BKE_library has already more than enough to
handle with IDs and library management!
- Use per context menu lists to support menu editing.
- Support for different kinds of menu items since this may be needed
in the future. Only use operator types for now.
Happened when deleting many studiolights at the same time when the
previews were still beging calculated in the background.
Added a free function callback that is filled when the preview is being
generated. This free function will then kill the preview job
This patch also removes icons that are not valid anymore so the user
cannot accidentally render an icon where the studiolight is invalid.
In the end we should use a add/remove function in the studiolight as
currently icons are recalculated too much.
- Undo that changes modes currently asserts,
since undo is now screen data.
Most likely we will change how object mode and workspaces work
since it's not practical/maintainable at the moment.
- Removed view_layer from particle settings
(wasn't needed and complicated undo).
