d8623da305 == Sequencer ==
This adds movieclip input support to the sequencer, thereby making
undistorted and stabilized footage available without a seperate render step.

Also: removes some old cruft code from the sequencer:

* new_tstripdata wasn't used anymore
* StripElems were allocated for SCENE strips on full length, wasting memory
  Added a comment, that hopefully makes things a little bit clearer:
  StripElems are *only* usefull for MOVIE + IMAGE strips for all other strip
  types one can set this pointer to NULL. (If that should cause otherwise
  problems, then the code that doesn't check for NULL is to blame!)

bec263e2a3 wm/operator code:
Change operator previous settings initialization not to use the redo stack since this gets cleared and it means only redo operators can re-use last settings.

now this works for import/export as well.

2caa507b7e i18n stuff: adds translation_context to RNA structs (used for there ui name), and a first default "Operator" one for all operators' label.
The fact is, operators' label are nearly always verbs, while properties labels are nearly always nouns. So this should already solve many translations' problems regarding noun/verb confusion.

This commit also simplifies a bit i18n usage:
*Now IFACE_ and TIP_ macros (or there context versions, CTX_IFACE_/TIP_) are used nearly everywhere (with one exception, where code is a bit complex and needs to manually test whether ui/tip translations is allowed, so no need to redo it later through those macros).
*Also, those macros are now defined to NOP in case WITH_INTERNATIONAL is false, which avoid testing that define everywhere in code!

7454d939c5 Add partial visibility operator including keymaps and menu items.
Uses HKEY for border hide, CTRL+HKEY for border show, and ALT+HKEY for
show all.

d3e271c55a Fix for lasso gestures. After executing the modal gesture operator the list of gesture points is copied to the operator "path" id property, which is simply a collection of points. This list must be cleared before adding new lasso points to it, since operator properties are now stored after each execution. Noticed by Olivier Amrein (oenvoyage) on IRC. 2012-03-12 14:39:37 +00:00

685fda4f13 Many i18n fixings, based on [#30428] [2.62] Translation Issues.
In fact, most "UI special cases" are not well translated, currently. :/ This affects especially the "Properties" panels. This commit should address problems in Graph editors, and 3D View (but probably not yet all of them). Yet it already adds more than 100 new messages (and fixes translated drawing of more).

Also done some style edits…

44850d6946 Fix #29946: Recover Auto Save defaults to "Short List" View -- Cannot determine dates
Added option display_type to WM_operator_properties_filesel which defines which file
display type (short/list/icons/default) should be used for file browser.

All current operators are using FILE_DEFAULTDISPLAY display type which means display
type will still be calculated based on type of opening file and user preferences
settings. Recover Auto Save operator is now using long display type so file date can
easily be checked now.

30e759c75b Fix all remaining unified paint settings uses of current Scene.
Things like brush size and strength accessors now take a scene
parameter rather than guessing about which Scene's unified paint
settings to use.

Setting the size/strength through RNA can now be done separately for
the brush or the UnifiedPaintSettings.

The UI python code required updating to check whether the
size/strength controls should use brush or UnifiedPaintSettings RNA.

Radial control also required some updates to switch between the two
RNA sources.

03b0681fe5 running operators now uses last used settings, added reset button to set defaults.
details
- uses redo stack to get recent settings from.
- adds a flag to IDProperties so RNA_property_is_set() can return false even if the property is exists.
- PROP_SKIP_SAVE option skips these settings from getting reset (as with presets).

e10fd04db0 use BLI_strncpy and BLI_snprintf when the size of the string is known.

535d27eb49 minor cleanup for string use - no functional changes
- use more logical names for strings, noticed too many strings called `str` when reviewing name patch.
- pass __func__ macro to uiBeginBlock(), quite a few names were wrong (copy/paste error).

50d05a2a58 Disallow link/append when in edit mode
Linking changes active object which is pretty useful in general,
but which totally confuses edit mode (i.e. it becoming not so obvious
to leave from edit mode and inwalid tools in toolbar might be displayed)
so disable link/append when in edit mode

3e7ad0e271 fix [#29537] file/save crashes when target path isnt found
bug was that uiPupMenuSaveOver(...) could run the WM API call function which freed the operator, within the low level invoke function which kept using the freed memory.

Changed uiPupMenuSaveOver(...) to only show a popup so the caller needs to check if the file exists and should be immediately written (which was done everywhere except for blend saving anyway).

* added note that operators invoke/exec funcs cant call WM_operator_call(...) on themselves, ends up using freed memory.
* added BLI_is_file(path), checks the file exists and isnt a directory.

c280002879 fix [#29579] Redo brolken when jobs are running
changes
* undo now checks screen jobs only, was checking all jobs before so a material preview could make an undo fail.
  now this is only limiteds for render/fluid bake/bake.

* the redo UI is now disabled when screen operators run.

c1c3d66079 Fix #29306: Alt+N, Enter In Image View Does closes the dialog without executing.
If enter is pressed outside of any button in menu, generate two menu return values:
- UI_RETURN_CANCEL so button wouldn't be executed
- UI_RETURN_POPUP_OK so callback associated with popup block would be executed

27d42c63d9 Camera tracking integration
===========================

Commiting camera tracking integration gsoc project into trunk.

This commit includes:

- Bundled version of libmv library (with some changes against official repo,
  re-sync with libmv repo a bit later)
- New datatype ID called MovieClip which is optimized to work with movie
  clips (both of movie files and image sequences) and doing camera/motion
  tracking operations.
- New editor called Clip Editor which is currently used for motion/tracking
  stuff only, but which can be easily extended to work with masks too.

  This editor supports:
  * Loading movie files/image sequences
  * Build proxies with different size for loaded movie clip, also supports
    building undistorted proxies to increase speed of playback in
    undistorted mode.
  * Manual lens distortion mode calibration using grid and grease pencil
  * Supervised 2D tracking using two different algorithms KLT and SAD.
  * Basic algorithm for feature detection
  * Camera motion solving. scene orientation

- New constraints to "link" scene objects with solved motions from clip:

  * Follow Track (make object follow 2D motion of track with given name
    or parent object to reconstructed 3D position of track)
  * Camera Solver to make camera moving in the same way as reconstructed camera

This commit NOT includes changes from tomato branch:

- New nodes (they'll be commited as separated patch)
- Automatic image offset guessing for image input node and image editor
  (need to do more tests and gather more feedback)
- Code cleanup in libmv-capi. It's not so critical cleanup, just increasing
  readability and understanadability of code. Better to make this chaneg when
  Keir will finish his current patch.

8e2bc6cdbc Context menu 'Edit Source' operator no longer needs to be enabled as a build option, improved this so the python file:line lookups are only done when the operator runs (previously this was done for every button, every draw when the build option was enabled).
Perhaps this should be hidden when not running with --debug, easy to change.
