225c5fee6b move BLO_sys_types.h -> BLI_sys_types.h (it had nothing todo with loading)
remove MEM_sys_types.h which was a duplicate.

788b47b788 Fix for yesterday i18n own commit (r44924): we now need to define WITH_INTERNATIONAL everywhere TIP_/IFACE_ macros are used (else, we get non-international, dummy NOP macros instead!).
Also fixed in main CMakeList file, when no addon dir found, we want to disable WITH_PYTHON (I guess, certainly not WITH_INTERNATIONAL ;) ).

36f20f162c Fix #28154: linux3-config.py doesn't exist
Change OURPLATFORM from "linux<major_version>" to simple "linux".
Since new policy for linux kernel versions that major version in
platform doesn't make much sense for building rules so the same
rules could be used for both of linux2 and linux3 now/

Tested on both of linux2 and linux3 systems.

67ff197cb1 Merge with trunk/2.5 at r25563
Most likely will not compile for others, I'd appreciate any build errors
and missing files reports (I can never seem to get everything committed
and all the build systems working without help).

Porting over the sculpt/multires tools was a breeze,
thanks goes to brecht for a design that didn't exclude
ngons and was easy to port.

Note that I've not tested externally-backed multires
file support yet.  Also, I still need to write version
patch code for some cases.

Some notes:

* Like trunk, topological changes don't update multires right,
  so e.g. subdivide will duplicate multires data on the new faces,
  instead of subdividing it.
* If you set the debug value (ctrl-alt-d) to 1 it'll turn on
  my experiments in speeding up sculpting on higher-res multires
  meshes (but note it makes partial redraw not completely accurate).
* There's a bug where you have to go through editmode to get out
  of sculpt mode, not sure if I inherited or created this myself.

1975ee5eec OSX vs OpenMP : implement workaround to fix crashes when using mop from a background thread
Fix# 20043 & 20392

The issue is that OSX lib does not implement TLS (Thread Local Storage), so  libgomp uses pthread functions to read/write thread specific vars.
But this implementation is currently (gcc 4.2) buggy : the write function is called only at lib start (in main thread), and the var is undefined for background thread.

The workaround is to perform this gomp_tls_key var write at beginning of background threads that use openMP. (Currently: render & fluidsim)

b6459105b4 OpenGL Render restored.
I tried to make it integrate more with regular render but couldn't
do it well, it still needs a 3D view to take the settings from, and
can't run in a separate thread due to OpenGL.

However, it is now rendering to an offscreen buffer which then gets
displayed in the image window. This requires FBO's to be available, so
a fallback creating a new window is still needed. Currently available
from the Render menu in the top header.

15d81b21f6 Fixing scons compile on windows.
Since bli_threads.h now includes pthreads directly, we need to had instructions in SConscripts everywhere for proper include path.

Frankly, I feel like this should be done in a global manner and not in a per lib fashion, but that is for another day.

This commit also fixes more missing properties

d35a42d3e6 2.5: Render Api
* Add RenderResult.load_from_file to load whole multilayer exr's at once.
* Removed x/y offset from RenderLayer.load_from_file, better to encourage
  using offset in begin_result() to minimize memory usage.
* Added WITH_OPENEXR in some screen/file/image module for scons/make, exr
  was not working in some places there.

405cf80eb8 Big, big commit!!
1) Remove WITH_FREETYPE2 from code, so now blender always need freetype2
2) Remove the old bmfont
3) Remove ftfont and bFTGL library
4) Implement a new BLF_draw_default function for place that still need/use
   the old BMF api.

I try to update both, scons and cmake, but I only can test with make, so
hope all work fine.

MSVC is broken, but I don't have Windows, things to search and fix are
any reference to WITH_FREETYPE2, FTGL and BMFONT (take in care that
blenkernel also have a BKE_bmfont.h, this don't have anything to do with bmfont).
        Always have to link/include the freetype2 library
        Remove any reference to libbmfont
        Remove any reference to libftfont
        Remove any reference to libbftgl (or libbFTGL)

Render back! And not only back, even full threaded now. :)
Current state is unfinished, but too much fun to not to
commit for review and test!

WARNING: because render is in a threaded job, it will
use data as can be edited in the UI. That'll crash in many
cases of course... the idea is to limit UI usage to viewing
stuff, especially for the Image Window to inspect layers
or zoom in/out.

What works now;
- F12 render (no anim)
- ESC from render
- ESC pushes back temporary Image Window
- Render to ImageWindow or full-screen.
- Executing composites, and edit composites after render.

Note that the UI is 100% responsive in a render, you can 
switch screens, slide area dividers around, or even load
a new file during render. :) It's quite stable even.

I'll collect all crash reports especially to get a good 
picture of where the protection is required at least.

Also added: XKey "Delete Objects", to get things crash...
unfortunately it didn't for me.

Blender builds and links on Linux. For now without BGE and its player, 
but that will come. Priorities are still a mess, so expect more commits 
soon.

I did a very drastic cleanup for the different libgroups, there's now only a few left. It compiled with scons/msvc, will be testing in a bit on linux, too.

Added 'header print' feature back.

ED_area_headerprint(ScrArea *sa, const char *str);

Give it a NULL string to disable the feature.
On each call it tags the header for redraw.

c6da2a59d8 RNA
* Added RNA for operators. This still uses ID properties internally,
  but through the RNA API now. The OP_get/set_* API that was used is
  replaced by the RNA API. Currently RNA properties for operators are
  defined at runtime since it means operator registration can be done
  in a single function.
* Changed the existing operators to use this system, I haven't defined
  user interface names yet though. I also think there need to be some
  conventions on which properties to expose to make these operators
  usable in macros, for example if mouse coordinates should be stored
  or not.
* When using ID properties through defined RNA properties, it now
  checks that the ID property actually matches the RNA property and
  removes/overwrites it otherwise. This ensures that you can safely
  get/set arrays for example without having to worry that some
  external thing may have changed the length.
* Documentation now has some information on RNA + ID properties.

Issues:
* GHOST/X11 had conflicting changes. Some code was added in 2.5, which was
  later added in trunk also, but reverted partially, specifically revision
  16683. I have left out this reversion in the 2.5 branch since I think it is
  needed there.

* Scons had various conflicting changes, I decided to go with trunk version
  for everything except priorities and some library renaming.
* In creator.c, there were various fixes and fixes for fixes related to the -w
  -W and -p options. In 2.5 -w and -W is not coded yet, and -p is done
  differently. Since this is changed so much, and I don't think those fixes
  would be needed in 2.5, I've left them out.
* Also in creator.c: there was code for a python bugfix where the screen was not
  initialized when running with -P. The code that initializes the screen there
  I had to disable, that can't work in 2.5 anymore but left it commented as a
  reminder.

Further I had to disable some new function calls. using src/ and python/, as
was done already in this branch, disabled function calls:
* bpath.c: error reporting
* BME_conversions.c: editmesh conversion functions.
* SHD_dynamic: disabled almost completely, there is no python/.
* KX_PythonInit.cpp and Ketsji/ build files: Mathutils is not there, disabled.
* text.c: clipboard copy call.
* object.c: OB_SUPPORT_MATERIAL.
* DerivedMesh.c and subsurf_ccg, stipple_quarttone.

Still to be done:
* Go over files and functions that were moved to a different location but could
  still use changes that were done in trunk.

1363134dee Whole lot of changes.... here a shortlist:
- removed editors/area and put this all in screen
- added first python calls (note, a new c file for scriptlinks)
- added view3d editor callbacks (no drawing yet)
- added files in editors/interface

(Cmake and Scons has to be fixed, help welcome!)

- now areas/headers are being converted on file read
- note: previously saved 2.50 files will crash!!! (.B.blend)
- area regions are being drawn, first handler for cursor added (on edge)
- window duplicate and scale works correct for screen subdiv

Todos for me:

- need to fix things in syntax (function names) a bit still
- more operators for screen
- define how Context will work... still unresolved when it gets set
- docs!

Reviews of code structure is welcome!
There are also more todos now for others, but it can wait a couple of days
