- Use BLI_threadpool_ prefix for (deprecated)
thread/listbase API.
- Use BLI_thread as prefix for other functions.

* Fix saving a multiview render from the image editor giving invalid files.
* Fix failure to load multiview images with a single view per part.
* Fix loss of multiview metadata when saving/loading a single view.
* Fix Z-Buffer writing option for single layer EXR not being respected.
Multiview EXRs are now always handled as multilayer internally, significantly
reducing the amount of code.

Border and circle select wait for input by default.
This commit uses bool properties on the operators instead of
magic number (called "gesture_mode").
Keymaps that define 'deselect' for border/circle select
begin immediately, exiting when on button release.
The issue was caused by render result identifier only consist of scene name,
which could indeed cause conflicts.
On the one hand, there are quite some areas in Blender where we need identifier
to be unique to properly address things. Usually this is required for sub-data
of IDs, like bones. On another hand, it's not that hard to support this
particular case and avoid possible frustration.
The idea is, we add library name to render identifier for linked scenes. We use
library name and not pointer so we preserve render results through undo stack.

GCC seems to detect uninitialized into function calls now, but then isn't
always smart enough to see that it is actually initialized. Disabling this
warning entirely seems a bit too much, so initialize a bit more now.
It is not a good idea to:
1. Duplicate metadata to self
2. Ignore the fact that something might have had metadata already.
Also moved metadata copy to a preparation function, so it is
never lost.
This commit fixes crash, but user feedback can be improved here to
inform artist that one can't use Render Result as a texture since that
will cause feedback loop.
Previously, every RenderPass would have a bitfield that specified its type. That limits the number of passes to 32, which was reached a while ago.
However, most of the code already supported arbitrary RenderPasses since they were also used to store Multilayer EXR images.
Therefore, this commit completely removes the passflag from RenderPass and changes all code to use the unique pass name for identification.
Since Blender Internal relies on hardcoded passes and to preserve compatibility, 32 pass names are reserved for the old hardcoded passes.
To support these arbitrary passes, the Render Result compositor node now adds dynamic sockets. For compatibility, the old hardcoded sockets are always stored and just hidden when the corresponding pass isn't available.
To use these changes, the Render Engine API now includes a function that allows render engines to add arbitrary passes to the render result. To be able to add options for these passes, addons can now add their own properties to SceneRenderLayers.
To keep the compositor input node updated, render engine plugins have to implement a callback that registers all the passes that will be generated.
From a user perspective, nothing should change with this commit.

This switches the internal color representation of the eye dropper from display space to linear. Any time a linear color is requested and the color is picked from a linear object, the result is now precise to the bit as the color gets patched through directly. Color space conversion now only happens when a color is picked from non-linear display space objects or when the color is requested to be returned in non-linear space.
In addition, this patch changes the DifferenceMatte node to interpret a tolerance of 0.0 to accept colors that are identical bit by bit, as apposed to simply refusing all colors.
There were two inconsistencies in how 'save image' op initiated its settings:
* It would always use ImBuf->planes value.
* It would always use Image views settings.
Both of those settings should come from scene->r.im_format (as everything else)
when saving render/compo result...
When WITH_INPUT_NDOF is disabled, 3D mouse handling code is removed
from:
- GHOST (was mostly done, finished the job)
- window manager
- various editors
- RNA
- keymaps
The input tab of user prefs does not show 3D mouse settings. Key map
editor does not show NDOF mappings.
DNA does not change.
On my Mac the compiled binary is 42KB smaller after this change. It
runs fine WITH_INPUT_NDOF on or off.
Now all consistent and using term "properties region" instead of "properties panel". Ideally we had a more generic operator for all those.
Fixes T49006.
This commit changes a lot of how IDs are handled internally, especially the unlinking/freeing
processes. So far, this was very fuzy, to summarize cleanly deleting or replacing a datablock
was pretty much impossible, except for a few special cases.
Also, unlinking was handled by each datatype, in a rather messy and prone-to-errors way (quite
a few ID usages were missed or wrongly handled that way).
One of the main goal of id-remap branch was to cleanup this, and fatorize ID links handling
by using library_query utils to allow generic handling of those, which is now the case
(now, generic ID links handling is only "knwon" from readfile.c and library_query.c).
This commit also adds backends to allow live replacement and deletion of datablocks in Blender
(so-called 'remapping' process, where we replace all usages of a given ID pointer by a new one,
or NULL one in case of unlinking).
This will allow nice new features, like ability to easily reload or relocate libraries, real immediate
deletion of datablocks in blender, replacement of one datablock by another, etc.
Some of those are for next commits.
A word of warning: this commit is highly risky, because it affects potentially a lot in Blender core.
Though it was tested rather deeply, being totally impossible to check all possible ID usage cases,
it's likely there are some remaining issues and bugs in new code... Please report them! ;)

Previously if image only had single channel only z buffer value was displaying.
This isn't handy for cases when you've got single channel buffer which is not
a z buffer.
Also fixed possible read past the array.
This commit avoids draw of invisible parts of image in image editor,
making it faster to re-draw the image.
Especially handy when painting on a high-res image when zoomed-in.
While other borders are more like a toggle, it is an intrinsic behavior
of those operators. Render Border is intrinsicly split into two operators
and trying to expose it as a toggle will end up with rather confusing
situation when shortcut listed in the menu changes depending on the
context.
