can type in any value, and only when sliding the number value there is a limit.
It was already possible to assign any value to a socket with node linking, so
this shouldn't cause any new issues.
Also raised the limits on the math nodes, with a patch by Agustin Benavidez.
- add examples for custom-data access
- group BMesh types logically in docs
- added missing docstrings
needed to add grouping functionality to sphinx for this.
Note about long lines: I did not touch to two pieces of code (because I don’t see any way to keep a nicely formated, compact code, with shorter lines):
* The node types definitions into rna_nodetree_types.h
* The vgroup name functions into rna_particle.c
*Add a new idname to keyingsets, keeping name as label-only (using same string for both made lookup fail when using i18n other than english, as it tried to compare an untranslated static string id against a translated RNA name). Also adding a description string (can be helpful with custom keyingsets, imho).
*Fixed a few other bugs related to that area (namely, you can’t deselect current keyingset from the shift-ctrl-alt-I popup menu, and insert/delete key ops were using a rather strange way to get chosen custom keyingset…).
*Fixed UI code so that it always uses (RNA) enum, and simplified menu-creation code.
- spelling - turns out we had tessellation spelt wrong all over.
- use \directive for doxy (not @directive)
- remove BLI_sparsemap.h - was from bmesh merge IIRC but entire file commented and not used.
Since FFmpeg 0.10 release FFV1 codec supports alpha channel which is getting
enabled when using PIX_FMT_RGB32 pixel format. This leads to incompatibility of
videos rendered in Blender with almost all external players (especially in OSX).
Seems that PIX_FMT_BGR0 is recommended to be used to make videos compatible with
older players which doesn't support alpha channel in FFV1.
Also added an option to switch to RGBA rendering if FFV1 codec is used and if RGBA
rendering is used FFV1 will be using PIX_FMT_RGB32 format which supports alpha channel.
Freestyle edge/face marks were ported to BMesh.
Conflicts resolved:

Most part of this commit fixes issues with FFmpeg output with
currently supported codecs:
- avcodec_encode_video might return zero which doesn't mean error
happened, but blender will handle this as error and will stop
rendering to video file.
- Changing output video codec wouldn't update "expert" options
set for video output which leads to some sideeffects like
ignored Lossless option for x264 codec.
This fixes allowed to add QTRLE codec easily.
* Sphere radius and Kr derivative epsilon were removed from the
Parameter Editor mode. Now sphere radius of 1.0 and Kr derivative
epsilon of 0.0 are used by default. The rationale of the removal
is two-fold: little predictability and very minor artistic values.
The effects of these parameters are hard to estimate in advance,
which likely leads to a frustration of users due to repeated
trials and unpredicted results. Therefore, the two parameters
are considered to have quite limited artistic values. Proper
definitions of the two parameters more and less require the
knowledge of differential geometry and would not make sense to
most artists for which the Parameter Editor is intended.
* Sphere radius and Kr derivative epsilon are still available in
the Python Scripting mode, but now in an "advanced options" section
that is disabled and hidden by default. This way new users are
properly warned, while expert users with specific technical needs
can enable these options if they want. The same default values
mentioned above are used when the two parameters are disabled.
* Disabled possibility to keyframe render resolution, percentage and border render properties. Animating them does not makes much sense. Discussed with Sergey in IRC.
Currently supported passes:
* Combined, Z, Normal, Object Index, Material Index, Emission, Environment,
Diffuse/Glossy/Transmission x Direct/Indirect/Color
Not supported yet:
* UV, Vector, Mist
Only enabled for CPU devices at the moment, will do GPU tweaks tommorrow,
also for environment importance sampling.
