680c23b771 Yet another windef.h compile fix for MinGW for game engine/video textures with ffmpeg. Looks like there is some redefinition of LONG , DWORD etc. Changing the order of inclusion resolves the issue. 2012-04-04 17:18:01 +00:00
f4ed44fb0c fix for building on linux with gcc4.7, an error was caused by undefining __cplusplus, so as to work with mingw4.4
this was added in r23608 so hopefully we can get buy now without it - or only undefine this in mingw if the problem still exists (cant test now).

- spelling - turns out we had tessellation spelt wrong all over.
- use \directive for doxy (not @directive)
- remove BLI_sparsemap.h - was from bmesh merge IIRC but entire file commented and not used.

The Transform attribute of KX_GameObject was based on world space data. I converted that one to worldTransform, and added a localTransform for local space transform information.

Fixed the transform attribute of KX_GameObject's set method to properly deal with negative scaling.

Updated the transform property on KX_GameObject so that it is now read/write, and added the corresponding set method. Also simplified the get method by calling GetOpenGLMatrix instead of making the matrix myself.

ddfc518cae BGE patch: [#29285] Video Texture: Avoid slow rescale (non power of 2 support check) by Goran Milovanovic (goran)
"Just a simple check for non power of two support (GLEW_ARB_texture_non_power_of_two), to avoid what seems to be a very slow, and very unnecessary gluScaleImage call."

This is the only part of the VideoTexture that does the POT calculation, so the check seems good.
It would be interesting if some opengl guru would like to benchmark the use of this in other areas of Blender (e.g. 2D Filters, and all GLSL materials).

Note that mipmap should also be supported automatically by this extension, so it's not something to worry about.

4ea816837d Configurable sensor size:
- Added support of variable size sensor width and height.
- Added presets for most common cameras, also new presets can be defined by user.
- Added option to control which dimension (vertical or horizontal) of sensor
  size defines FOV. Old behavior of automatic FOV calculation is also kept.
- Renderer, viewport, game engine and collada importer/exporter should
  deal fine with this changes. Other exporters would be updated soon.

blender_add_lib now takes a separate include argument to suppress warnings in system includes (mostly ffmpeg & python).
also only build wm_apple.c on apple+carbon configuration.

Sorry folks, that patch breaks current ffmpeg GIT version.

Good news: it's all handled now automagically by ffmpeg_compat.h in 
intern/ffmpeg

so: everything should be fine and dandy for very old and very new versions.

Added central compatibility header file, which enables blender to compile
against very old ffmpeg versions as well as very new versions using the
*NEW* API. (Old API functions are simulated using macros and inline functions)

Added a whole lot of additional checks, tested against 6 different versions
down the timeline, hopefully, now finally all is well.

* removed a lot of old cruft code for ancient ffmpeg versions
* made it compile again against latest ffmpeg / libav GIT
  (also shouldn't break distro ffmpegs, since those API changes
  have been introduced over a year ago. If it nevertheless breaks,
  please send me an email)

cb12337363 Code cleanup: remove source/kernel module, this wasn't really the kernel of
anything, only contained a hash map and functions to pass command line args
to the game engine. Moved those to container and BlenderRoutines modules.
