09ea5dfd09 Fix assert in Alembic tests with constraints
Leave the reader to be created on the CoW object in the depsgraph evaluation,
don't assign the one used for importing to the original object.

89826e0a0d Alembic: integrate cache file into the dependency graph
* The cache file datablock is now evaluated as part of the dependency graph,
  creating/freeing the Alembic file handle matching the current frame.
  Modifiers and constraints depend on this evaluation.
* Cache file handles and readers now only exist on COW datablocks, never the
  original ones.
* Object data paths are flushed back to the original for the user interface.
* The cache file keeps a list of all readers associated with its handle, and
  automatically frees them when the handle is freed. This kind of sharing of
  data across datablocks is weak but we have no better mechanism for it.

0333cf00ba Fix BLI_path_frame_strip
The `BLI_path_frame_strip` function was completely broken, unless the
number of digits in the sequence number was the same as the length of
the extension. In other words, it would work fine for `file.0001.abc` (4
digit `0001` and 4 char `.abc`), but other combinations would truncate
to the shortest (`file.001.abc` would become `file.###.ab` and
`file.00001.a` would become `file.##.a`). The dependency between the
sequence number and the file extension is now removed.

The behaviour has changed a little bit in the case where there are no
numbers in the filename. Previously, `path="filename.abc"` would result
in `path="filename.abc"` and `ext=""`, but now it results in
`path="filename"` and `ext=".abc"`. This way `ext` always contains the
extension, and the behaviour is consistent regardless of whether there
were any numbers found.

Furthermore, I've removed the `bool set_frame_char` parameter, because
it was unclear, probably also buggy, and most importantly, never used.

I've also added a unit test for the `BLI_path_frame_strip` function.

8f817de0cb Cleanup: use plural names for Main lists
Convention was not to but after discussion on 918941483f we agree its
best to change the convention.

Names now mostly follow RNA.

Some exceptions:

- Use 'nodetrees' instead of 'nodegroups'
  since the struct is called NodeTree.
- Use 'gpencils' instead of 'grease_pencil'
  since 'gpencil' is a common abbreviation in the C code.

Other exceptions:

- Leave 'wm' as it's a list of one.
- Leave 'ipo' as is for versioning.

8b716655e2 Cleanup: replace BKE_id_copy_ex by BKE_id_copy where possible.
That way it is obvious when we are using default ID copy behaviour, and
when we are using advanced/specialized ones.

65ec7ec524 Cleanup: remove redundant, invalid info from headers
BF-admins agree to remove header information that isn't useful,
to reduce noise.

- BEGIN/END license blocks

  Developers should add non license comments as separate comment blocks.
  No need for separator text.

- Contributors

  This is often invalid, outdated or misleading
  especially when splitting files.

  It's more useful to git-blame to find out who has developed the code.

See P901 for script to perform these edits.

83f8f44791 Fix T59495, T59992, T59904, T59178, T60598: broken keyframed value editing.
This removes a bunch of animation/driver evaluations and recalc flags that
should be redundant in the new depsgraph, and were incorrectly affecting
the evaluated scene in a permanent way.

Still two cases that could be removed if the depsgraph is improved, in
BKE_object_handle_data_update and BKE_cachefile_update_frame.

For physics subframe interpolation there are also still calls to
BKE_object_where_is_calc that should ideally be removed as well, though
they are not known to cause keyframing bugs.

33437719c1 Alembic import: fixed memory management for CoW copies of CacheFile blocks
When a CacheFile datablock is copied to an in-main datablock, it means that
the new copy should be independent of the old copy. In this case certain
properties are reset/duplicated. When it is copied to a no-main datablock,
we assume this is a copy-on-write copy that's used for evaluating things,
in which case the handle and object paths are referenced instead of
reset/ duplicated. This prevents us from re-opening the Alembic file every
time a new CoW copy is made.

The same approach is taken when freeing data (only when an in-main datablock
is freed do we actually free the data).

4a52531a11 Alembic: Fix double-free of mutex
The mutex was shared between CoW copies of the CacheFile datablock, and
as a result also freed multiple times. It is now only freed when the
original datablock is freed; the CoW copies share the same mutex.

cd702db338 Animation: Pass dependency graph to animation system
This way we allow animation system to make decisions based on which
context dependency graph is coming from, and whether it belongs to
an active edit window or not.

  since undo is now screen data.

  Most likely we will change how object mode and workspaces work
  since it's not practical/maintainable at the moment.

The offset is subtracted, so that it's intuitive (dragging slider pushes
the animation further that way on the timeline).

41830cc432 Refactor ID copying (and to some extent, ID freeing).
This will allow much finer controll over how we copy data-blocks, from
full copy in Main database, to "lighter" ones (out of Main, inside an
already allocated datablock, etc.).

This commit also transfers a llot of what was previously handled by
per-ID-type custom code to generic ID handling code in BKE_library.
Hopefully will avoid in future inconsistencies and missing bits we had
all over the codebase in the past.

It also adds missing copying handling for a few types, most notably
Scene (which where using a fully customized handling previously).

Note that the type of allocation used during copying (regular in Main,
allocated but outside of Main, or not allocated by ID handling code at
all) is stored in ID's, which allows to handle them correctly when
freeing. This needs to be taken care of with caution when doing 'weird'
unusual things with ID copying and/or allocation!

As a final note, while rather noisy, this commit will hopefully not
break too much existing branches, old 'API' has been kept for the main
part, as a wrapper around new code. Cleaning it up will happen later.

eeb9e5316a Make whole ID copying code use const source pointer.
Noisy change, but safe, and better do it sooner than later if we are to
rework copying code. Also, previous commit shows this *is* useful to
catch some mistakes.

2aa4f8ab92 Alembic import: removed BaseLegacy from BKE_cachefile_clean
Now we just iterate over all objects. It may be a better idea to use a
smarter approach for performance. However, since this function is not
called regularly (only when changing Alembic file paths), it's not a very
big deal.

9c02990ac1 Alembic import: changing cache modifier path no longer discards object paths
This allows, for example, the path of an Alembic file to be changed from
absolute to relative, without having to reconstruct all object paths.

753edafcb7 Alembic: store a pointer to the object reader in the cache modifiers and
constraints.

This avoids traversing the archive everytime object data is needed and
gives an overall consistent ~2x speedup here with files containing
between 136 and 500 Alembic objects. Also this somewhat nicely de-
duplicates code between data creation (upon import) and data streaming
(modifiers and constraints).

The only worying part is what happens when a CacheFile is deleted and/or
has its path changed. For now, we traverse the whole scene and for each
object using the CacheFile we free the pointer and NULL-ify it (see
BKE_cachefile_clean), but at some point this should be re-considered and
make use of the dependency graph.
