c0db8a9a3b Cleanup: remove unused button function
rB05f900e3466b45a19e13bea6dd641e4f7b8b46e9 removed unused button functions,
but since that commit the `uiDefIconTextButBit()` static function sits
unused as well. It's now been removed.

05f900e346 Cleanup: Remove unused UI button definition functions
These were part of the older buttons API that shouldn't be used in
more places at this point. Most layouts should be built with the regular
layout system API and RNA properties. This sort of button can still be
created though, since these were just shortcuts anyway.

0606adceb3 UI: String Search: Add an optional weight parameter
This builds off of rBf951aa063f7, adding a weight parameter which can
be used to change the order of items when they have the same match
score. In the future, if string searching gets a C++ API, we could
use an optional parameter for the weight, since it is not used yet.

This will be used for the node link drag search menu (D8286).

5514ca58a4 Fix T92313: Heading of redo panel is not aligned properly
This corrects some alignments issues through new margins introduced in
93544b641b. Basic idea of this fix is to only add the new margins when
drawing a panel with background. These margins were added specifically
for the background boxes, so that makes sense.

Alternative fix to D13199.

This also fixes some margings added unintentionally in mentioned commit.
There is a little jump of the toolbar and the tabs in the Properties
when comparing the UI without this fix to 2.93:
{F12158085} {F12158039}
The jump is gone with this fix applied (compare to the 2.93 screenshot):
{F12158064}
While not a serious issue, this confirms that this fix actually tackles
the root of the issue.

01df48a983 Refactor: Port spreadsheet data set to UI tree view
This patch removes a bunch of specific code for drawing the spreadsheet
data set region, which was an overly specific solution for a generic UI.
Nowadays, the UI tree view API used for asset browser catalogs is a much
better way to implement this behavior.

To make this possible, the tree view API is extended in a few ways.
Collapsibility can now be turned off, and whether an item should
be active is moved to a separate virtual function.

The only visual change is that the items are now drawn in a box,
just like the asset catalog.

2b394e1108 UI: (Performance) Avoid drawing buttons out of view
The UI was always drawing all buttons in a layout, no matter if they
were scrolled out of view (as in, outside of the visible part of the
region) or not. This means it's doing quite some work that can be
avoided.
UI drawing generally isn't a big bottleneck in Blender, so I don't
expect huge speedups from this. But while playing back animation, we do
redraw a fair bit of the UI, so in cases where there are many buttons
out of view, it may bring a little FPS boost. E.g. say in complex node
trees (the node editor is redrawn on animation playback in case there
are animated values that need updated UI feedback). This also mitigates
the issue in T92922 significantly.

d28aaf6139 Asset Browser: Show current file assets in other asset libraries if contained
If the current file is saved within an asset library, showing that asset
library in the Asset Browser will also display the assets from this current
file now. In fact, it's the latest state of the open file, including all
unsaved modifications.
These assets will show a little Blender icon in the preview image, which is our
usual icon for current file data.

Note that this means an important design change: The "Current File" asset
library isn't the only place to edit assets from anymore. From now on assets
from the current file can also be edited in the context of the full asset
library. See T90193 for more info.

Technical info:
Besides just including the assets from the current `Main`, this requires
partial clearing and reading of file-lists, so that asset operations (e.g.
removing an asset data-block) doesn't require a full reload of the asset
library.

In a couple of places in the UI, we show superimposed icons on buttons
to execute an operation (called "Extra Icons" internally). Hovering them
would show the tooltip of the underlying button, which is misleading and
confusing.
There are cases where it's not obvious what an icon does, so a tooltip
would be quite useful here. It's likely we are going to use superimposed
icons in more places in the future, e.g. see D11890.

The extra icon basically acts as an override for the button in the
tooltip code.

c0a5b13b5e Asset Browser: Rework layout & behavior of catalog tree-view
This reworks how tree rows are constructed in the layout and how they
behave in return.

* To open or collapse a row, the triangle/chevron icon has to be clicked
now. The previous behavior of allowing to do it on the entire row, but
only if the item was active already, was just too unusual and felt
  weird.
* Reduce margin between chevron icon and the row label.
* Indent child items without chevron some more, otherwise they feel like
a row on the same level as their parent, just without chevron.
* Fix renaming button taking entire row width. Respect indentation now.
* Fix double-clicking to rename toggling collapsed state on each click.

Some hacks/special-handling was needed so tree-rows always highlight
while the mouse is hovering them, even if the mouse is actually hovering
another button inside the row.

c4dca65228 Asset Browser: Support dragging assets into catalogs
With this it is possible to select any number of assets in the Asset
Browser and drag them into catalogs. The assets will be moved to that
catalog then. However, this will only work in the "Current File" asset
library, since that is the only library that allows changing assets,
which is what's done here.

While dragging assets over the tree row, a tooltip is shown explaining
what's going to happen.

In preparation to this, the new UI tree-view API was already extended
with custom drop support, see 4ee2d9df42.

----

Changes here to the `wmDrag` code were needed to support dragging multiple
assets. Some of it is considered temporary because a) a proper #AssetHandle
design should replace some ugly parts of this patch and b) the multi-item
support in `wmDrag` isn't that great yet. The entire API will have to be
written anyway (see D4071).

9d9f205dc4 Asset Browser: Initial Asset Catalog UI
The Asset Browser now displays a tree with asset catalogs in the left
sidebar.
This replaces the asset categories. It uses the new UI tree-view API
(https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Source/Interface/Views#Tree-View).
Buttons are displayed for adding and removing of catalogs. Parent items
can be collapsed, but the collapsed/uncollapsed state is not stored in
files yet.
Note that edits to catalogs (e.g. new or removed catalogs) are only
written to the asset library's catalog definition files when saving a
.blend.

In the "Current File" asset library, we try to show asset catalogs from
a parent asset library, or if that fails, from the directory the file is
stored in. See adaf4f56e1.

There are plenty of TODOs and smaller glitches to be fixed still. Plus a
UI polishing pass should be done.

Important missing UI features:
* Dragging assets into catalogs (WIP, close to being ready).
* Renaming catalogs
* Proper handling of catalogs in the "Current File" asset library
  (currently not working well).

The "Current File" asset library is especially limited still. Since this
is the only place where you can assign assets to a catalog, this makes
the catalogs very cumbersome in general. To assign an asset to a
catalog, one has to manually copy the Catalog ID (a random hash like
number) to the asset metadata through a temporary UI in the Asset
Browser Sidebar. These limitations should be addressed over the next few
days, they are high priority.

df9120b365 Fix T89864: Adding an asset referencing other objects adds it to scene but only adds data-blocks of referenced objects.
Link/append code needs proper access to scene/view3d data to handle
collections/objects instantiation.

Note that this is a temporary hack more than a proper fix, which would require
a deeper redesign of drag&drop code.

Also note that this will not handle 'properly' (i.e. as user would
expect it) cases like implicitely appended parent objects, in that only
the explicitely appended object will be dropped to the nes location, the
others will remain at their original coordinates.

323fd80aad UI: Tree-View API for easy creation of tree UIs
This follows three main targets:

* Make creation of new tree UIs easy.
* Groundwork to generalize tree UIs (so e.g. Outliner, animation
channels, asset catalogs and spreadsheet data-sets don't have to
re-implement basic tree UI code) or even other data-view UIs.
* Better separate data and UI state. E.g. with this, tree-item selection
or the open/collapsed state can be stored on the UI level, rather than
in data. (Asset Catalogs need this, storing UI state info in them is
  not an option.)

In addition, the design should be well testable and could even be
exposed to Python.

Note that things will likely change in master still. E.g. the actually
resulting UI isn't very nice visually yet.

The design is documented here:

0c83ef567c UI: Auto-scroll to keep active text buttons in view
If a text button is activated that is not in view (i.e. scrolled away),
the scrolling will now be adjusted to have it in view (with some
small additional margin). While entering text, the view may also be
updated should the button move out of view, for whatever reason. For the
most part, this feature shouldn't be needed and won't kick in, except
when a clicked on text button is partially out of view or very close to
the region edge. It's however quite important for the previously
committed feature, that is, pressing Ctrl+F to start searching in a UI
list. The end of the list where the scroll button appears may not be in
view. Plus while filtering the number of visible items changes so the
scrolling has to be updated to keep the search button visible.

Note that I disabled the auto-scrolling for when the text button spawned
an additional popup, like for search-box buttons. That is because
current code assumes the button to have a fixed position while the popup
is open. There is no code to update the popup position together with the
button/scrolling.

I also think that the logic added here could be used in more places,
e.g. for the "ensure file in view" logic the File Browser does.

Widget drawing code already supported drawing right-aligned, grayed out

be used to draw other hints in the same way. There have been a few
instances in the past where this would've been useful, D11046 being the
latest one.

Note that besides some manual regression testing, I didn't check if this
works yet, as there is no code actually using it (other than the
shortcuts). Can be checked as part of further development for D11046.

A possible further improvement would be providing a way to define how
clipping should be done. E.g. sometimes the right-aligned text should be
clipped first (because it's just a hint), in other cases it should be
left untouched (like current code explicitly does it for shortcuts).

Removes the `UI_BUT_HAS_SHORTCUT` flag, which isn't needed anymore.
