Here's the video "Armatures - Blender 2.80 Fundamentals"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ3o5tjO51s&t=2m

The video narration says "you can download this character in the description down below"

The video description links to a blender cloud page with zipped assets:
https://cloud.blender.org/p/animation-fundamentals/5d69ab4dea6789db11ee65d1

But in the zip there is no unrigged model, only rigged ones. And the filenames don't make it easy to find the file containing the character. The rigged character (I think it's in the Sky file) can be edited to delete the armature of course, but it's off putting for beginners to need to do this without instruction.

I expected the zip to contain a blender file named something like "Unrigged character" with no rig (and no scarf), just like in the video.

This could have been mentioned in the Video, yes.
But this is really just a matter of opening sky_merged_mesh.blend and deleting the armature.
Afaict, there is no scarf in that file (scarf is in sky.blend), not sure if the .zip has been updated since.

That being said, I would not consider this to be an issue that absolutely needs clarification nor something to be handled here in the bugtracker.
Thx reporting, but will close.
