System Information
Operating system: macOS-10.15.7-x86_64-i386-64bit 64 Bits
Graphics card: Intel(R) Iris(TM) Plus Graphics 645 Intel Inc. 4.1 INTEL-14.7.8

Blender Version
Broken: version: 3.5.0 Alpha, branch: master, commit date: 2023-01-29 00:10, hash: blender/blender@042775ad48

Short description of error
This birail option is mimicking the function of Screw with a little twist, but it does not working at all.

Followed instruction from this post (https:*developer.blender.org/T27720) and tried to recreate demonstration from this video (https:*www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PKY9Jv6Ee0) but nothing seemed to work like demonstrated.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
The test file I am using:

20230131_curve_edit_tools_birail_not_working_0001.blend

  • Delete default Cube
  • Enable 'Add Curve: Curve Tools' add-on from Preferences
  • Add a Curve->Circle
  • Shift-D to duplicate and move in Z up
  • Add a Curve->Path, rotate 90º so the path is stand upright, move to the edge of the bottom circle and bend the curve to form the edge of a vase, using this as a guided path for a vase.
  • Select the Path first, then select two Circles,
  • On side-bar Curve Tools->Edit->Surfaces, click on Birail
  • Note nothing appear though BirailedSurface mesh has been created and visible in the Outliner.
