Addon Information
Name: Node Wrangler (3, 46)
Author: Bartek Skorupa, Greg Zaal, Sebastian Koenig, Christian Brinkmann, Florian Meyer
Short description of error
when using the "Ctrl Shift T" to choose a couple of textures to auto setup, Node Wrangler does not connect bump and normal if both are selected to import it only connects bump
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
[Please describe the exact steps needed to reproduce the issue]
[Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible)]
I can confirm, but I'm not sure what to really expect.
If both textures are imported, how would they be used on the same BSDF node?
If we have a normal texture, I'm not sure where the bump texture would go. They kind of have the same use.
I imagine this behavior is expected in this case.
can it connect to the bumb node height and the normal to the bump normal socket? this is the typical scenario for adding both
-normal to Normal map to bump normal
-bump to bump height
I never heard about it :\
check the image, trust me it's ABC shading scenario :p
even quixel used to import it this way
