Short description of error
The Space function sometimes doesn't work on loops.

You can see in one screenshot the selection ; parallel loops on a strip. If you use the "Space" function on it, it does nothing.
If you change selection mode to "Parallel", it throws an error. It's a problem I've been facing for years.
