Been getting traceback error, unable to continue project. #105333

i'm trying to model and animate my sims 2 rips with a couple tutorials, but everytime i try to install blender_source_tools_3.3 per both tutorials, i am unable to toggle the add-on, and it gives me the error i added a screenshot of. i have no clue how to fix it, and i can't find anything about it. nobody else seems to be having this issue... i've tried deleting the io_scene_valvesource folder, no dice, i tried installing both blender 2.80 and blender 2.76b, and it throws the same error on both. i'm at my wits' end!

3.3 Released
Updated to the Blender 4.1 API. Older versions of Blender are no longer supported.
Counter-Strike 2 and No More Room In Hell are now recognised engine branches.

Meaning for blender source tools 3.3 you need at least blender 4.1, not 2.8. From my research you'd need source tools 3.1.1 or lower to work in blender 2.8.
