Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.22621-SP0 64 Bits (its windows 11 tho)
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.6.0 NVIDIA 555.99

Blender Version
Broken: version: 4.0.2, branch: main (modified), commit date: 2023-12-05 07:41, hash: 9be62e85b727
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)
using Screen Space Ray Tracing 1.17r

Short description of error
it will crash when the vr headset is connected to steamvr, else it wont crash but instead complain about no headset connected. no crash log or warning is shown whatsoever.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
click "start vr session" on any blend file as long as steamvr believes that the vr (quest 2) is connected even if it is not connected and when it says "standing by"
